The pulp making line ragger is a coarse separation and purification device often used in conjunction with continuous pulping equipment such as hydraulic pulpers. It is mainly used to remove various entangled impurities from pulp, such as wire, rope, plastic, and cotton yarn.
During the pulping process in a hydrapulper, impurities in waste paper, such as iron wire, thin rope, plastic, and cotton yarn, are formed into a rope and continuously pulled out and discharged, thus achieving initial purification of the pulp.
The ragger consists of a frame, motor, reducer, drive chain, upper pressure roller and lifting device, winch, pulley, and guide roller. The motor, via the reducer and drive chain, slowly rotates the winch, continuously pulling out strands of rope formed by entangled impurities in the hydrapulper.
