The long fiber refiner discharge chest agitator is primarily used to agitate long-fiber pulp discharged from a refiner. It keeps the pulp in a uniform state of suspension, preventing fiber sedimentation and clumping, thereby ensuring a stable supply of pulp for subsequent transport and proportioning processes.
1. Preventing fiber settling: Continuously agitate the pulp to minimize the accumulation of long fibers at the bottom of the pulp chest.
2. Maintaining pulp uniformity: Promote thorough mixing of the pulp to reduce localized concentration variations.
3. Facilitating pulp transport: Help maintain the fluidity of the pulp, ensuring stable extraction and transport by pulp pumps.
4. Stabilizing downstream processes: Provide a consistent, uniform supply of long fiber pulp for subsequent operations, such as stock proportioning, screening, or feeding the paper machine.
After being processed by the pulp refiner, the long-fiber pulp enters the discharge chest, where an agitator—utilizing a rotating impeller—induces a circulating flow that keeps the fibers dispersed and in a state of suspension. Subsequently, the pulp is pumped to the next stage of the process. More details about long fiber refiner discharge chest agitator, please feel free to contact us.
